Every year, school districts across Washington implement procedures for the screening, referral, assessment, identification, and placement of highly capable students.
For students who qualify, CVSD’s Highly Capable elementary services offer enhanced instruction in reasoning skills. Referrals may be received for any grade 1-4 student from teachers, support staff, parents, students, and members of the community.
The Highly Capable Referral form for Grades 1-4 is OPEN March 1-April 12, 2024.
